As the first woman to coach a professional men's baseball team, pitch batting practice during Spring Training, and serve as a guest instructor in the Oakland A's instructional league, Justine Siegal is one of the sport's most prominent advocate for girls baseball and equality for girls and boys. In 2010, she founded Baseball For All, a 501(c)3 nonprofit to provide girls with the opportunities and resources to coach, play, and lead in baseball.
