Bioeksen R&D Technologies is a biotechnology company established with the aim of developing and producing molecular diagnostic products for human health, animal health, food and water safety using Reverse Transcription and Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR and RT-qPCR) technologies.
It was founded in 2014 and received R&D Innovation support from KOSGEB. Since its establishment, Bioeksen has completed 32 different R&D projects and produced 180 different molecular biotechnology products as a result of these projects.
Bioeksen operates ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality management systems and has two production facilities in Istanbul and Hannover (Germany) with Class 7 Clean Room infrastructure, providing a daily production capacity of 2 million tests.
Among the 580 biotechnology companies in the world producing molecular diagnostic kits, Bioeksen is one of the first 5% of firms to have approval from the World Health Organization and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Its product portfolio includes products developed to detect pathogens in samples from food, water, animals, and humans quickly and reliably, while also creating less waste with sustainable environmental awareness. Bioeksen has sold its products in 85 countries as 200 million tests.
Bioeksen R&D Technologies Inc. successfully passes external quality control processes recognized worldwide, such as QCMD and Neqas. The company is working diligently with dedication to contribute to world health with its innovative, fast, and reliable systems.
