Calciscon has developed and markets the T50 test, a novel and unique measurement of calcification. This medical information is critical to enable individualized care, and pivotal to reduce calcification and prevent cardiovascular disease.
The T50 addresses a multi-billion market opportunity, and Calciscon will initially target patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD), the patient group with the highest rate of calcification-related CV events (20x higher then normal population).
The T50 test first enables the doctor to identify highest-risk patients, and then drives the selection of the most effective therapy to critically reduce calcification, to improve patient CV prognosis.
