The Council Advancing Work-Based Learning (CAWBL) is an independent, nonpartisan organization promoting work-based learning (WBL) policies, perceptions, and practices. It spearheads a global movement to openly recognize learning, regardless of where or how it occurs. As the global standards and accreditation body, CAWBL recognizes programs, employers, skills labs, centers of excellence, and professional occupations committed to open learning and recognition.
The Council was established to shape policy, practice, and perception of work-based learning. It identifies and demonstrates effective practices while developing innovative approaches to professional development, examination, and accreditation for work-based learning systems.
