About EPSRC CDT in Future Fluid Dynamics at Leeds

Our EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Future Fluid Dynamics at the University of Leeds tackles fundamental and applied problems providing students from a wide range of academic backgrounds with the opportunity to undertake cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research. CDT students undertake a 4 year funded integrated PhD and MSc in Fluid Dynamics. The integrated MSc is completed over the first two years, paired with a three year PhD-level research programme. This gives students a combination of bespoke taught modules and inter-disciplinary research training. The major research areas of the CDT are encompassed in five cross-disciplinary themes; Reacting Flows, Mixing and Safety Environmental Flows Geophysical Flows Microflows and Heat Transfer Particulate Flows, Sediments and Rheology
