We primarily focused on teens health and development as it relates to menstrual health, hygiene management, mental health,body autonomy, sex education and self esteem of teens in Nigeria.
A core project was launched in 2022 called MO Reusable Pads in underserved communities and Internally Displaced People (IDP) communities to tackle menstrual stigma and period poverty of young women.
Mo Reusable pad Project is an initiative under the organization that aims to raise awareness and promote proper education on safe menstrual hygiene practices among teenage girls. Trainings are provided on the making of eco-friendly reusable menstruation pads and pad maintenance .
Period facts and taboos which prevents girls from understanding the truth about their bodies are provided to further educate and empower teenage girls on how to confidently manage their periods and prioritize their menstrual health
We also systematically and consistently used our social media platforms to pass across age and culturally appropriate health education to our targets audience through our social media posts on menstrual health, hygiene management, mental health, body autonomy, sex education and self esteem so as to make teens self reliant adults in the future.
