The Center for Youth Advocacy and Development (CEYAD) is a youth-led civil society organization which was founded in 2014 and registered in Nigeria in 2017.
It focuses on Social transformation via good governance; Peace and Security via social justice and inclusion; on preparing young people for smooth transition to adulthood via meaningful youth engagement; and on supporting grass-root movements to build collective power, solidarity and to effectively use non-violent actions and peacebuilding advocacy to transform their local communities and change narratives while fostering active citizenship.
