Clemson University Makerspace

Clemson Makerspace is a student-run organization that focuses on introducing students, faculty, and staff at all levels of Clemson University to 3D Printing, Rapid Prototyping, and Laser Cutting among other things. We provide training, assistance, and guidance to all of our users to assist them in creating their projects. These projects range from personal projects such as building props to research projects and class projects. Our interns vary greatly in background, ranging from Engineering majors to Life Sciences majors to Communications majors, with this range ever expanding. We pride ourselves in being a collaborative, cross-disciplinary space where ideas are fosters and great things are created. We are currently using Lulzbot FDM printers, FormLabs SLA Printers, Epilogue CO2 Lasers, GlowForge lasers, and more equipment. These enable us to serve all of our users, regardless of previous experience.
