Communities Insurance is a not-for-profit insurance broker, with a clear social enterprise ethos. The business has two clear missions. 1: As a broker, we are here to serve the not-for-profit, voluntary and charity sectors We will compete hard to identify the best cover at the best premium. We know money is always in short supply, and adopt a realistic approach to squeezing the most value out of every pound spent. We have a full range of insurance solutions designed for the not-for-profit, voluntary and charity sectors, including liability protection - property and motor - personal accident and travel insurance. 2: To develop and introduce affordable simple insurance products for the financially excluded in society. After personal banking, the provision of affordable insurance is the second highest cause of financial exclusion in the UK. We are doing something about it, and our first scheme - Communities Home will be launched in 2014. There are not many not-for-profit insurance brokers in the Uk - we are unusual. We want to offer best value, personal service and re-invest profit into product development and our good causes.
