CREDS

CREDS — Center for Research on Digitalization and Sustainability is part of Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences’ (HINN) contribution to the Inland innovation ecosystem and will contribute to creating new knowledge, knowledge-sharing, and development processes in collaboration with businesses in the region. The initiative will strengthen HINN's commitment to sustainability and digitalization and further elevate the academic level in HINN. CREDS will carry out multidisciplinary and applied research to solve complex challenges concerning the green- and digital transformation. The center activities are intended to help with the challenges facing the private and public sectors. The center will help businesses to contribute knowledge at the individual, industry, and societal levels. The research center will work closely with the business sector regionally in Kongsvinger and Innlandet and nationally. The collaborations will contribute with knowledge related to both the digital and the green transition. The activities will help promote value creation by, among other things, making better use of resources and securing jobs. Integrating the environment and sustainability into the activities of the enterprises will be central to maintaining future competitiveness.
