DBD Holding was first established in Lebanon through Slid Sal in 1962 as the exclusive distributor of Hoechst, Beiersdorf, Degussa / Evonik and Schwarzkopf. The SLID portfolio later expanded to include Matis Paris, Dabur International, Framar and Statement Grooming.
In 2004, DBD Holding expanded its country portfolio to include Armenia by establishing IDEAS, as the exclusive distributor of Schwarzkopf Professional, Indola Professional and Dabur International.
In 2015, the company expanded its operations in the UAE and Oman with the establishment of DB Distribution, exclusively representing Schwarzkopf Professional. Operations in the GCC later expanded to KSA (2017); Qatar (2018); Bahrain (2020) and Kuwait (2021).
Today, with more than 300 employees across 8 Countries , 9 Professional Academies, 6,000+ business Partners and a network of 10,000+ Professionals , we are one of the major Pioneers both professional and personal Care in the Region, Driving Education, Innovation and Inspiration across the industry.
