The Department of Energy Science and Engineering (DESE) was established in 2021 at IIT Delhi, offering a diverse range of academic programs including B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D.
The DESE is an interdisciplinary department that covers a broad spectrum of energy-related topics, spanning from core energy principles to electrical and mechanical subsystems. The Energy Engineering program is specifically designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle the challenges in the energy sector and provide sustainable solutions that make energy accessible, available, and affordable.
