Equity Chambers IMSU

Equity Chambers is a professional student-run Chambers in the faculty of law, Imo State University, Owerri. We are committed to facilitating the knowledge of procedural law as well as the rudiments of student lawyering which is a simulation of real life law practice. By giving our members the avenue to practice in the LAWSA inn, we hone their skills in areas of advocacy, legal writing/drafting and legal research. Thus, Equity Chambers is constantly engaged in moots, mock trials and debate competitions tailored towards supporting legal education and professionalism. We also support our members in their academic journey by way of academic tutorials, mentorship programmes, symposiums and webinars. This also engenders self-development in the members and helps them grow into becoming intentional lawyers. The impeccable products of Equity Chambers who are now great legal practitioners lends credence to our diligence and hard work.
