Favia Reef Builders

Favia Reef Builders strives to help corals survive where they naturally grow, through constant monitoring, weeding and efforts to tackle the influx of high nutrient water from land runoff. Our focus is on multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research that will in some way, help corals survive and thrive where they live. That being said, coral fragment transplantation is not an objective of the Favia Reef Builders. Transportation of corals involves only the moving of new recruits within the same reef, away from areas of high sedimentation. We are in the process of registering our organization, and would love for you to join us in this effort to save the reef.
