GAVA is a strong voice, trusted resource and an advocate for professionals in the field of volunteerism in the state of Georgia. We are a 501(c)(3), organized in 1986 by a stat-wide steering committee of volunteer administrators.
GAVA provides vital training and educational opportunities relevant to the field of volunteer management; serves as a link to national, state and regional resources; and sponsors statewide awards to recognize outstanding local and state wide leadership in the field of volunteer administration and volunteerism.
