Geography is central to how we understand the world. In an increasingly globalised world, understanding how populations interact with the physical environment is critical to planning sustainable societies. At UL Geography we pride ourselves on educating the next generation of geographers and empowering young people with the skills to make positive change.
Studying geography at the University of Limerick will equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle and plan for the future needs of society. Through lectures, tutorials, lab work and field trips, students will be equipped to identify, analyse and explain complex human and natural phenomena.
Geography is studied via three programmes at the University of Limerick, through the Arts, Social Sciences and Physical Education, offering students a variety of future career paths that can make a difference.
