Golaghat Engineering College (GEC), established in 2018, is a premier government-approved institution in Assam, dedicated to excellence in technical education. Affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), GEC offers four-year B.Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, with an annual intake of 180 students. The college also houses departments in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Humanities, ensuring a well-rounded academic foundation. Spanning 44 acres in Bogorijeng, Golaghat, the campus provides state-of-the-art infrastructure and a conducive learning environment. Admission to GEC is through the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), while lateral entry is facilitated via the Joint Lateral Entrance Examination (JLEE), both conducted by ASTU.
