Assam Engineering College, the first engineering college of North-Eastern India established in the year 1955, is a premier technical institute of our country with NBA accredited departments. Run by the Government of Assam, AEC has been the hub of many academic and supplementary activities for almost seven decades. It is serving as an ambassador to the technological fraternity of the world since its inception. Assam Engineering College (AEC), a premier technical institute of the entire country, was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in the year of 1955. It is the premier technical institute of North East India and is located in the Jalukbari area of Guwahati city. . The Training & Placement Cell (TPC) of Assam Engineering College, since its inception during 90's, it has been trustworthy and vibrant. The TPC is an integral part of the training and placement scenario, prospects and achivements of Assam Engineering College making the college a hub of opportunities and possibilities for a lot of aspirants for career growth.
