TPC Petroleum Engineering DUIET

The Department of Petroleum Engineering was started in August, 2009 as one of the principal branches in Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET), Dibrugarh University. Department of Petroleum Engineering, DUIET, Dibrugarh University has been upgrading itself constantly in terms of the academic program and research during the last decade after its establishment in 2009. It attracts the finest and motivated students along with the young and dynamic faculty members for its different programs. The department strives hard to nurture and train the students with additional skills with a view to create the right set of inputs required for different upstream Oil and Gas Industries. The presence of the state-of-the-art facilities, different student exchange programs and active industry-academia interaction have helped the students of the department to excel in the competitive professional life. The graduates of our department have been selected by esteemed oil industries, leading research and academic institutes and other national and multinational corporations which have made us proud. The Training & Placement cell, DU is equipped with separate office room, computing facility and well-furnished separate interview room and conference hall etc. to cater to the various departments of the university. This cell endeavours to provide placement assistance to the final semester students who are pursuing different courses of studies in the university. The cell also strives to promote strong network with cooperate organisations and other external agencies for maximizing opportunities for the students of the university.
