Groverton

An emerging CDFI and veteran founded, Groverton is a tech-enabled finance platform focused on affordable housing. We are reinventing the idea of the American Dream and helping the disadvantaged find a place to call home. Partnering with Groverton offers that chance. Our program leverages the private real estate market and enables affordable housing Clients to become home-owners, turning their rent payments into equity and giving them a place to truly call theirs. Unlike traditional affordable housing, there is no cost to HAs and nonprofits nor does the program require federal subsidies. Groverton recognized the ability to serve the low income community depended on federal appropriations. However, the need for housing far exceeds its availability, and those who seek assistance face long wait lists. Housing assistance programs fall within the federal government's non-defense discretionary portion of the budget and are therefore vulnerable to cuts. That is why we started Groverton.
