The Powder Technology Group -GTP- was formally created in 2005 with a solid background acquired through years of research. It is part of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University Carlos III of Madrid. GTP is formed by a multidisciplinary team of 26 researchers working in the broad area of Powder Technology, from synthesis and production of powders, to the design of new materials for specific applications and surface engineering. We maintain stable collaborations with national and international groups working in joined R+D competitive projects and contracts with industrial companies. We also offer consulting, technical assistance and customised training services.
