The FuelEU Maritime Regulation, the rising prices in the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) and the indicative target of the RED III Regulation mean that renewable fuels such as hydrogen or hydrogen derivatives will play an increasing role in decarbonization, especially in maritime transport.
The H2Derivatives@BalticSeaPorts project enables the development of knowledge and skills among port authorities and stakeholders in the Baltic Sea ports to enable qualified handling and bunkering of sustainable H2 derivatives in the future.
The H2Derivatives@BalticSeaPorts project will run from March 2025 to February 2028 under the leadership of Port of Hamburg Marketing.
