Since 1910, the YMCA in Huntsville and North Alabama has provided a wide array of programs and services for children of pre-school, youth, and teen ages, as well as adults and seniors, families, and individuals.
Our programs focus on accomplishing our mission of by exemplifying the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in our areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

Heart of the Valley YMCA serves more than 23,000 members through seven locations: Southeast Family YMCA and Downtown Express YMCA in Huntsville; the Hogan Family YMCA in Madison; YMCA Camp Cha-La-Kee in Guntersville; and the YMCA Downtown Child Development Center, YMCA Southeast Child Development Center and YMCA Northwest Child Development Center.
