Our mission is to provide access to university education thereby enabling visually-impaired students in India to get jobs in today’s modern economy.
Towards this mission, we also provide skills training through our EMET program, coaching for examinations and personal development initiatives.
Given poor educational and health facilities, it is the poorest of the visually impaired who suffer the greatest through lack of support for higher education.
Our efforts are focused on reaching this socio-economic group, many of whom migrate to cities, where colleges provide better facilities for the visually impaired.
