Humanium

Humanium is an international, independent and neutral NGO, committed to promoting, defending and realizing the rights of every child across the globe. The organization was founded on November 20, 2008 in Geneva, Switzerland, then established in France and Germany the following year. Our action is based upon three axes: - To promote clear and accessible information to as many people as possible on children's rights and their situation in the world. - To defend children whose rights have been violated and plead their cause to both public and private decision makers. - To realize the full spectrum of children's rights by enabling each person to be an agent of change and by developing projects that help children reach their full potential. Our impactful work benefits hundreds of thousands of people around the world: with the help of volunteers, every year, 4 million people throughout the world are directly sensitized to the fundamental rights of children and the important need to protect them. Our on-the-ground approach in India and Rwanda facilitates human development from the inside out. Our innovative method focuses on protecting and supporting children in order for them to become fully aware of their ability to make their dreams come true. Since 2008, our projects in support of children have improved the lives of over 150,000 people. We are convinced that humanity can create a world where the rights of all children are respected!
