UFBA Student Branch

The UFBA Student Branch is the IEEE representation in the Federal University of Bahia, in Salvador, Brazil. It is one of the most respected Student Branches in the country, with a history of activities of more than 30 years. It has vast experience in event organization, holding a National and a Regional Student Branch Meetings in the past, inserting Salvador in the worldwide technical events scenario. Its mission is to "bring the IEEE benefits to the academic community approaching and training students to the reality of professionals; spreading knowledge with social responsibility". The UFBA Student Branch has many volunteers aligned with this mission, working with autonomy, inventiveness, resilience, proactivity, transparency, with the intent of spreading knowledge and aiming for excellence in the university.
