About Ilog Pasiglahin
Ilog Pasiglahin is a multi-sectoral coalition pushing for the genuine and inclusive rehabilitation of the Pasig River for our shared community and sustainable future. The coalition aims to bring together communities to revitalize their love and care for the river and mobilize it into action. Composed of community, environmental, transport, heritage, and other allied groups, it also works to prevent threats that will irreversibly damage the river and its connected ecosystems, such as Pasig River Expressway (PAREX). Instead, Ilog Pasiglahin recognizes the role of the river as a center of ecological and cultural heritage and lobbies for sustainable solutions led by the communities, such as strengthening the ferry system and building esplanade parks along the riverside. To date, more than 26,000 people have signed the petition against PAREX at bit.ly/NoToPAREX.
