Innovators Association of Eswatini - IAE

The Innovators Association of Eswatini (IAE) is a legally registered entity in the Kingdom of Eswatini. IAE is a private, non-profit making association and is owned by its members and seeks to promote the inclusion of innovators in the social and economic advancement of Eswatini. Through partnerships, knowledge and experience sharing, IAE aims to work with the Eswatini Government, private sector, organizations and individuals in developing the skill level and participation of innovators from all sectors in Eswatini. Using innovation hubs as vehicles, the IAE empowers Emaswati through creating and managing an ecosystem that will transform innovative ideas into viable business service products that can be sold and provide meaningful income generating activities. Our main objectives are: 1. To contribute to development and the Eswatini economy through the promotion of an innovation culture; modernisation and utilization of technology; creating entrepreneurship and produce responsive products aimed at improving access to public & private services. 2. To provide a supportive environment and platform for local innovators to network, share skills, knowledge and experiences and facilitate mentorship support in the various disciplines of innovation. 3. To facilitate the establishment and nurturing of partnerships and networks that would enhance innovation, creativity and markets availability at local and international level. 4.Develop and deliver capacity building programmes aimed at strengthening capacity of young innovators; facilitate accreditation in specific areas of intellectual development; provide legal support aimed at protecting innovators who create and utilize the results of innovation; organise and host specific and targeted conferences, dialogues, seminars aimed at promoting innovation. 5. Provide opportunities for Research and Development on areas for innovation; and facilitate resource mobilisation for specific areas of development,
