"IT Education Management Organization", or "ITEMO" for short, is a partnership of specialists in the field of IT management and includes experts from science and industry, consulting and training companies as well as other organizations and associations. The organization identifies and defines role models within the field of IT management for the purpose of establishing an internationally recognized training concept for information technology. This modular training concept for IT managers is an international model which standardizes the training and further education of IT managers. While taking the modular concept into account, the organization creates relevant training schemes which build on the previous training levels. Each training level is described in detail in the corresponding individual syllabus. Each individual level is completed by sitting an exam as per the published exam regulations. People who acquire this certification are not only able to prove their expertise in the field of IT management but also gain invaluable knowledge which can be applied to their careers in the future.
