JDM Partners, LLC (herein "JDM") consists of the principals Jerry Colangelo, David Eaton and Mel Shultz. Together, they have over 100 years of real estate, sports and entertainment development and operational experience. JDM formerly owned the Phoenix Suns of the NBA, the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA, the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League and was the original owner and managing partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. Jerry Colangelo also played an instrumental role in founding the Chicago Bulls and is now the national director of USA Basketball. He was the man behind basketball's 2008 Olympics' Redeem Team as well as the 2010 World Champions; Team USA! Aside from JDM's extensive experience in sports development, ownership and operations, the partnership possesses decades of experience in real estate development and management. The group has owned and developed 15 business parks in Arizona and is developing the 36,800 acre Douglas Ranch/Trillium Community, which is the largest master planned community in the greater Phoenix area.
