Laboratório de Controle Aplicado - LCA Poli-USP

LCA is one of the most unique labs at the University of São Paulo, Latin America's leading university in many subjects, including Electrical Engineering. The lab is a branch of the Control and Automation Lab (LAC Poli-USP) created in 2016, as part of the faculty's Control and Telecommunications Engineering Department (PTC). Our goal is to develop research projects involving applications of control theory on our own built control systems. To put it into a more detailed perspective, we're responsible for: - Development of control system prototypes with commercially common functionalities in order to provide low-cost options for the equipping of the university's laboratory for teaching control theory and its applications - Applying different control algorithms to real-life systems, enriching the learning experience and reinforcing the validity of the results obtained by the research conducted. Currently we are working on new projects alongside Undergraduate, Master and Ph.D students as part of thesis and research mentorship programs, all of them dealing with great publishing potential.
