Licube

Licube, Inc. was established in December 2024 as a university-launched startup based on research developed by Professor Kazuya Sasaki at Hirosaki University in Japan. Licube is a developer of a proprietary and patented electrodialysis technology that allows for the cost-effective production of ultra-high-purity lithium for battery applications. The company is positioned to support emerging domestic lithium supply chains by establishing operational plants in Japan and the United States, with a focus on toll refining and offtake partnerships
