Life Shared (formerly known as Shared Life Australia) was founded by our General Manager, Jacinta Duffy, as a passion project to address some of the shortfalls of the current aged care system that Jacinta encountered both professionally and personally.
Life Shared has developed an innovative platform that enables seniors to connect with vetted and safety-checked home sharers who are willing to commit to 10 hours per week of companionship and assistance.At the heart of Life Shared is our desire to make a difference and support others to be the difference.
In February 2025, Shared Lives Australia joined the award-winning group of PlanCare companies in Aged Care & NDIS sectors that use technology to enhance their customers' lives. The partnership was a significant milestone in further innovation, enhance customer experience, and advance technology, particularly considering upcoming sector reforms.
