Welcome to my research and consulting page. I am a solicitor, organisational psychologist, researcher, and lecturer. I apply research to create ethical and healthy workplaces in law. I also teach psychology for lawyers. After two decades advising law firms, in-house legal teams, professional bodies and regulators on legal ethics and regulatory risk management, I now add a social science dimension to my work, applying research and evidence from psychology to promote ethical behaviour and wellbeing in the legal sector. I continue to work with all corners of the profession, extending collaborations with the judiciary and other stakeholder groups and policymakers, in the UK and internationally. 🔸 Research and consulting on evidence-based risk management, using data and evidence to create ethical and healthy workplaces in law. 🔸 Speaking at conferences, events, seminars and workshops on lawyers’ ethics and wellbeing, and applying psychology for effective legal practice. Alongside my consulting work, I research and teach at The Dickson Poon School of Law at King's College London and Faculty of Business and Law at Birkbeck, University of London. I am a board member and trustee for LawCare, the mental health charity for the UK legal profession; Co-Chair for the International Bar Association (IBA) Professional Wellbeing Commission; and committee officer for the IBA Academic and Professional Development Committee.
