Despite being the most digitally connected generation in history, Generation Alpha is also one of the loneliest, with alarming rates of anxiety, depression, and cell phone addiction. Unfortunately for busy parents, existing childcare platforms overlook the modern-day challenges of excessive screen time and the decline of play-based learning leaving families without a seamless, trusted solution. Mentmii is designed to combat these issues with a completely new offering called, skill-share childcare. Mentmii matches local, high school mentors to grade school mentees for in-person coaching and training in sports, STEM, art, and music for better real-world connections, social engagement and skill development. This unique platform promotes people instead of pixels to counteract the isolating effects of screen time and social media, making it more than just a childcare solution.
