The Arlene & Joseph Meraux Charitable Foundation is a family foundation on a continuous mission to improve the quality of life in St. Bernard Parish. Our roots spread throughout the community to grow the economy, nurture the arts, enrich educational opportunities, empower young people, protect and restore our environment, and build resiliency.
For a decade, our current board of directors has been implementing a strategic vision that started with our founder, Arlene Meraux. Our board is presided over by Arleneʼs niece, Rita Gue, and the other directors are Floyd Gue, Bill Haines, Chris Haines, and Sidney Torres, III.
