MicroA utilise it´s unique microalgae photobioreactor cultivation system to produce polysaccharide ingredients at the highest standards in a continuous controlled system. MicroA’s cultivation system has allowed the exploration of new microalgal products where there is market demand for a natural product with a specific biochemical or bioactivity profile. MicroA is currently developing the broad range of applications for one of such products, PRASINOGUARD ®, a bioactive sulfated polysaccharide derived from marine sources with skin soothing, anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory and antipollution properties.
