Minnesota Training Partnership company information, Employees & Contact Information

Union jobs have provided economic stability and a high quality of life for generations of Minnesotans. To this end, the leadership of the Minnesota AFL-CIO established Minnesota Training Partnership (MTP) in November 2017. The mission of MTP is to create and enhance equitable pathways towards safe, meaningful, and sustainable careers through collaborative partnerships. The Minnesota AFL-CIO serves 300,000+ members of affiliated unions, while belonging to the national AFL-CIO which unites more than 12.5 million working people of every race and ethnicity. Under the Minnesota AFL-CIO umbrella, MTP creates and supports collaborations between unions and employers, and is uniquely positioned as the only union workforce development intermediary agency in the state. MTP advances equity by strengthening the pipeline of underserved people into stable job opportunities, and upgrading incumbent worker skills. In the past 3 years, MTP has been awarded grants to complete 11 workforce development projects. Some projects are complete, while others are still being implemented. Collectively, these projects have served (or will serve) 5,187 workers. Of the 11 projects, 6 served (or are currently serving) primarily people of color and/or women workers.
