MPAs Canary Islands is an initiative focused on strengthening the Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) of the archipelago and promoting a sustainable, replicable management model across the Central Eastern Atlantic.
Backed by Oceans 5, we work to contribute to the global goal of protecting 30% of the ocean by 2030, building a more connected, effective, and resilient MPA network.
Our work combines science, conservation, and collaboration with institutions, experts, and communities — positioning the Canary Islands as an international benchmark in marine sustainability.
