The only way to know which medications are safe is through a genomic test and advanced analysis. MyEngene® started with a vision to truly personalize medicine. Our mission is to create a positive healthcare experience by elevating the standard of care that patients deserve. There is a lack of use and understanding of genomics to help prescribe the right medicine and reduce hospitalizations and deaths. 128,000 Americans die each year from ADR’s (adverse drug reactions) and their side effects. Pharmacogenomics uses information about a person’s genetic makeup, or genome, to choose the drugs and doses that are likely to work best for that particular person. This growing field combines the sciences of pharmacology and genomics.
