New Communities creates supportive communities and delivers innovative services for seniors and people with disabilities. As a non-profit organization that began almost fifty years ago with a single assisted living facility in southern Maine, we continue to increase the depth and breadth of our programs and services for seniors, adults with mental health diagnoses, and people with intellectual disabilities and autism. Today, our dedicated workforce of 400 professionals provide individualized residential and community services to more than 300 people who live, work, and play in the communities of their choice at 27 locations across the state of Maine.
