NUDGES PROJECT

🔍 NUDGES is a study project, financed by Interreg Euro-MED programme, which aims at demonstrating how Mediterranean countries can utilize behavioural strategies ("nudging") to improve urban climate policies. 🌊 Eight project partners from eight Mediterranean countries work together around six proofs of concept, which compare the effectiveness of nudging interventions versus cultural interventions, based on emotional responses and sensory experiences - encompassing sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. The sixth proof of concept will have a cross-cutting approach, focusing on engaging new generations. 🌍 The project partners aim to address 3 key gaps: 1) bridging the gap between climate attitudes and behaviours in the MED population, 2) educating MED policymakers about the potential effectiveness of climate nudges as tools for change, and 3) offering evidence of the cultural and behavioural factors that influence the effectiveness of nudging strategies. 💡 A new, innovative MED-wide community of interest will be formed, facilitating further research within a dedicated Transferability Plan. 👥 NUDGES project team is led by ANETEL, Larnaca and Famagusta Districts Development Agency. D’Annunzio" of Chieti and Pescara from Chieti, Italy; Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece; Knowledge Network from Zagreb, Croatia; PREDA - Development Agency of City of Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Museum of Humor and Satire from Gabrovo, Bulgaria.
