ODC Space is specialized in ground systems for Science Operations and Data Handling. Our consultant, Jorge Diaz del Rio, based on his 12+ years experience working for the European Space Agency and in cooperation with NAIF-JPL, will provide expert advice on the design, definition, development and testing of science operations planning, scheduling and commanding systems, as well as in the production and deployment of SPICE data sets for space-based instruments aboard robotic planetary spacecraft. ODC Space also provides dedicated SPICE training and software development, either in the form of application program interfaces or dedicated software systems using NASA's ancillary data system for planetary missions, for its use in mission concept studies, mission engineering analysis, science operations planning and scheduling, visualization or scientific data analysis and archiving. ODC Space provides also SPICE archive generation services following the rules and standards defined by the Navigation and Ancillary Information Facility (NAIF) node of the Planetary Data System (PDS) and ESA's Planetary Science Archive (PSA) requirements.
