Located in New York City, Opportunity Development Group (ODG) is a partnership between JDS Development Group and Arkhouse Partners. ODG will structure a Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF) that will capitalize on a new federal tax incentive program, the Opportunity Zones Program, which was enacted by Congress in 2017 as part of the ‘Tax Cuts and Jobs Act’ to encourage private investment in state-designated Opportunity Zones. ODG’s first fund, ODG OZ Fund I, will target $500 million.
Prior to its inception, ODG’s principals and prospective team have covered construction, acquisitions, accounting and project management, developing and managing over 10 million square feet and $2.7 billion in real estate value nationally.
