At Parks Foundation Calgary (PFC), we create parks though partnerships by connecting donors and partners with unique park and sport projects. Our programs and projects take several forms - building, giving and supporting - all directly impacting local communities. We BUILD new parks, playgrounds, pathways and natural spaces in the city. We GIVE grants for community -led projects and amateur sport groups. We SUPPORT communities and non-profit organizations by providing accounting, fund and project management assistance. With over 150 community-led park projects, valued at $23 million dollars in more than 50 communities and over $200 million dollars in major capital projects the mandate of PFC is to improve the life of all Calgarians, creating thriving communities and public spaces.
The work of Parks Foundation Calgary has directly impacted every single neighborhood in Calgary, from a local playground we helped build, to a dedication bench that was sponsored through our organization.
