People's Climate Diplomacy Program

The People’s Climate Diplomacy Program is building a different kind of climate diplomat—one rooted in movements, accountable to communities, and embedded where the strategy lives: within civil society constituencies organizing behind the scenes. Our mission is to equip young people—mainly from frontline and underrepresented communities—with the tools, training, and support to engage in international climate negotiations not as spectators but as strategists. We’re not just showing up to talk. We’re analyzing negotiation text, planning targeted interventions, building coalition power, and bringing the voices and priorities of our movements into the halls of multilateral decision-making. This is diplomacy from the bottom up. Movement-centered. Justice-driven. Built to last.
