PI Castings was founded in 1950. We are one of the longest established manufacturers of investment castings in Europe, and one of just a few with the capability to produce high integrity castings in both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals from a single UK based location.
In our business there is no substitute for experience, customer service and high quality - that is why P.I. Castings has become one of the largest manufacturers of investment castings in the UK. We have been making precision investment castings by the lost wax process for over 65 years and have a wealth of knowledge, which is invaluable when giving our customers technical advice and help with their projects, from the early design stages through to full production.
Our experience is backed up by some of the most comprehensive in-house facilities of any investment casting company. At PI Castings we have our own Rapid Prototyping machine, heat-treatment, mechanical testing, non-destructive testing, spectrographic analysis and co-ordinate measuring machines and our own machining facilities. We can produce finished components that satisfy your requirements without having to send castings off site – this allows us to uphold our high standards of quality control and save time in production. We also offer Low Cost Sourcing.
We offer the widest range of materials any investment casting company can offer; including Aluminium, carbon steels, stainless steels, high alloy steels, tool steels, brass, bronze and zinc.
At PI Castings we pride ourselves on delivering high quality components and customer service that is second to none. Regardless of the nature of the component that we are manufacturing, all of our castings are produced to the same ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 Aerospace standards. Our team has the experience and flexibility needed to meet the most stringent technical, quality and delivery requirements. This has enabled PI Castings to be approved by NADCAP and other international organisations.
