PLENTI is a quiet location for a meaningful stay located in the Nilgiris Hills of South India, on the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. This region forms part of the Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most important biodiversity hotspots. It is also home to Indigenous Adivasi communities whose deep connection to the land shapes the spirit of this place. Our guesthouse is community-owned and cared for by people from the surrounding valley. It is a spacious, peaceful home that blends comfort with simplicity - ideal for solitude, reflection, or creative work. For those who are interested, PLENTI also offers thoughtful ways to engage with the community and its ongoing work. Every stay becomes a quiet thread in a shared story - one that connects people, land, and community. The PLENTI Project began with a simple question: How can travel and hospitality bring value not just to the visitor, but to the place and its people? Our intention was to create a space that not only offers rest and reflection, but also strengthens what already exists—a network of deeply rooted local organizations working in education, health, cultural preservation, and livelihoods. By building a stay experience that supports and uplifts these efforts, PLENTI offers something mutual: a chance for visitors to slow down and reconnect with nature, while contributing— quietly and meaningfully—to the wellbeing of this unique valley and its people.
