Young adults ages 14-18 years are at a critical time in their lives...its a time where building their confidence, leadership skills and global perspective can lead to a creating a future leader who embraces the needs and views of others and seeks to make positive purposeful impact in their community.
Powerful Youth transforms best practices in youth and leadership development theory into a life-changing 2 week experienced-based Global Leadership Academy (GLA). After the program, we provide 6 months of follow-up support to ensure the tangible realization of each participant's DREAM project. Youth leave other programs with a certificate and photos, while youth leave GLA with: A portfolio of work demonstrating the knowledge they have gained and a post-program 6 month DREAM project supported by the Powerful Youth community.
