Prealth is a healthcare tech startup. The era of your insurance policy paying for all your health needs is over. Americans are paying more out of pocket healthcare expenses than ever before. We are concerned. In response to the Affordable Care Act, insurance deductibles have risen and insurance networks of doctors have narrowed. Insurance plans on the exchanges now exclude both out of network and out of state healthcare providers. We are paying more and getting less. We are offering an app that lists doctors in your area, what insurance they take and what patients are saying about them. Most importantly, we are estimating how much the visit will cost you depending on whether they take your insurance or not. Our goal is to ease the process of shopping for healthcare.
